a sell that drops a wallet below a whole tile gives the tile back. on the way out, the first 16 characters of the seller's address are cut across one row. struck cells weigh nothing, never change again, and the field cannot grow through them.

how many tiles carry how many cuts. eight is sealed.
row usage
which of the eight rows get cut. the row comes from the third byte of the sell's signature.
